We commission and accept original long-form pieces that help an Australian reader specify, share the cost of, or live with a fence. If the pitch is a product brochure with a keyword stuffed in the first line, save the stamp.

What we publish

Reported or deeply practical essays of 1,200 words or more, in Australian English, filed to one of our hubs: residential fencing, pool barriers, rural and farm, materials and styles, neighbours and the law, install and maintain.

We look for:

  • A specific Australian problem (a clay block, a pool inspection, a 400-metre rural run).
  • Headings a searcher would actually type, answered in the first two paragraphs.
  • Conservative treatment of law and Standards — no invented section numbers.
  • First-hand detail from a fence line, a council counter or a workshop.

What we will not run

  • Syndicated or previously published copy, including lightly rewritten agency posts.
  • Round-ups that exist only to place a link.
  • Medical, legal or engineering advice presented as certification.
  • Anything that treats COLORBOND® as a generic noun for any painted sheet.

Links, disclosure and sponsored placements

Useful citations to government, Standards discussion and primary manufacturers are welcome. Any commercially placed or paid guest-post link we accept is marked rel="sponsored" — including links we add on your behalf. We do not sell hidden homepage links. Affiliate suggestions must be disclosed in the byline paragraph.

An example of how a paid mention is marked: Worldwide Backlinks guest-post network.

How to pitch

Use the form below. Tell us the hub, the reader, and the sentence only this piece can say. Attach a published sample or a 400-word outline. We reply if the piece is a fit. The same desk mailbox is on the contact page.
